Police department trade-in Simunition conversion uppers for M16/M4/AR-15 pattern lowers. These are complete carry-handle A2-style uppers with the distinctive blue Simunition training barrel for force-on-force and marking-round training.
Choose handguard style at checkout:
- Simunition Blue Handguard — Factory-style blue ribbed Simunition handguard marked SIMUNITION for immediate visual ID that the weapon is converted for training.
- Colt Black Handguard — Standard Colt-style black ribbed carbine handguard on the same Simunition blue barrel / A2 front sight setup.
These uppers drop onto a mil-spec AR/M16 lower so agencies can convert a duty rifle for Simunition FX / reduced-energy training without permanently modifying the issued weapon. Blue barrel and (on one variant) blue handguard are the standard visual indicators that the rifle is in training configuration.
Condition: Used PD trade-in. Fully functional training uppers sold AS-IS. Finish wear, handling marks, and cosmetic variation are normal. No returns on used surplus.
What’s included: Complete upper with barrel, A2 front sight base, carry-handle upper receiver, and selected handguard. Bolt/carrier. confirm current photos and packing list. Lower receiver, stock, and magazines are not included.
Intended use: Supervised Simunition / FX marking-cartridge and reduced-energy training only. Not for live 5.56 duty ammunition. Follow Simunition safety protocols and PPE requirements.
