Colt IAR 5.56mm Upper Receiver Assembly | 11.5" Barrel

AU did an excelled job of getting this upper to me quickly. The upper was packed well and looks great. This does have the Colt marked radian charging handle and magpul pro metal rear sight. I’m excited to run this at the range and see how it does.

Not withstanding the poor reviews from disillusioned ARFCOMers who are never satisfied because of their misguided expectation that they are buying Tiffany’s diamonds, this is a spectacular product at a fantastic deal even if it’s not as much fun playing Rambo without the bayonet lug, even if the bolt carrier group was belatedly packed but nonetheless delivered, and even if the charging handle was assumed to be the RADIAN one but it’s just a regular old charging handle. And even if all the little “see” markings are not where they were expected to be and even if there’s a little handling mark here and there. The ARFCOMers are never satisfied but I bet you will be just like me

Almost perfect. A couple of nicks on the handguard and picatinny rail showing bare aluminum. Can fix with birchwood casey aluminum black. Same issue on the 16 inch variant. When I opened the box, the BCG was sticking out the rear only being held on by the charging handle, probably caused by rough handling of the box through shipping. I haven't tore down the BCG but it looks to be phosphate chrome lined.

This thing is absolutely bad ass! Running it hard with super safety. It came with Radian Raptor CH, C marked upper, magpul steel BUIS in Colt box, blue bag, with barrel wick. Installed ma tech rear iron, and Eotech EXPS 3-4 w/ 5X magnifier. With an H3 buffer and sprinco red, the ejection is perfect and the cyclic rate is nice and manageable, especially with a bipod. I was tempted just to hold onto it for resale value, but no. It's just too awesome. Will try to get another. The heat sink really is effective. Get one, and run the hell out of it!

Solid upper does what it says it does. Great heat mitigation and runs like hell with a FRT lower. you will have a great suppression weapon for your assault team

Excellent transaction with AU! Had been eyeing this for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger on it and not disappointed at all. The upper arrived in excellent condition. It came with the magpul rear sight which agreed with how it is currently advertised. I did manage to find a MaTech rear drum style rear sight for a decent price elsewhere though so I am good there. This is a steal at its current sale price point and I’m very happy with the purchase and speed in which I received it. 5 stars across the board on this!!

Better than expected

This upper is a really interesting part I purchased it as a stand alone and purchased the Commando Lower separate in order to facilitate using Silencer Shop to SBR it. Now the the BBB has eliminated the $200 tax I am evened happier that I waited. Arms Unlimited has been my go to for all things Colt lately the processing time on orders, prices, and customer service have been outstanding.
