The Colt Sub-Compact Weapon SCW's collapsible folding buttstock is ideal for confined space combat operations, close quarters battle and functional vehicle transport. Incorporating a bolt carrier/buffer system engineered by Colt, the SCW is the only side folding stock that functions reliably when folded and has passed stringent military drop and usage tests. The SCW stock deploys rapidly from the folded position, without the need to push any buttons and offers a 5 position telescoping feature for maximum length of pull adjustability.

Great Stock Kit but lacking of installing specifications or Manuel
Called Colt and they were not very forthcoming with the installing torque spec for this scw stock kits buffer tube or the tool that they used.. I used my dial caliper to determine that you must use a 30mm Crowfoot for the buffer tube and torque no greater than 25 ft lbs. You cannot stake this endplate to buffer tube by design, the locking tab and protrusion of the stock above the buffer tube as shown will lock in as shown in video arms unlimited provided. This stock kit changed the handling of my 10.3 stock kit for the better and allows me to have a much nicer time of using a ordinary 24 inch backpack for discreet transportation to my range of choice. This is the superior quality tested colt oem option to the law folder mk3 with excellent results. I will buy another in the future.

Great addition for any AR platform rifle
I installed this on a transferable M16 carbine. Easy swap out taking about 15 minutes. Works great both in semi and full auto. Stock is adjustable for a comfortable fit. I would highly recommend it if you want a reliable more compact AR platform.
