Beautiful fit and finish, found one for under $1,300 bucks wasn't going to pay $2000 for one. Highly recommend getting one, shop around don't rush .

Colt M5 Carbine
This is a nice addition to the Colt collection. Packaged well, the Colt box was in excellent condition, carbine was perfect, no scratches or apparent blems, a package full of accessories. The carbine is a Gen-1 with the non-ambi bolt catch. I’ve made several purchases over the last couple of years with AU. They have all been without incident, and their prices are very reasonable compared to sone other online vendors.

The Colt M5
The CTR stock (receiver extension) was clocked a little but not enough for me to break the factory staking. The Colt 2 step feed ramps were not done very well. I pulled the barrel and fixed the feed ramps. Other than the feed ramps the parts appear to be high quality and built to spec. This rifle was the gen 1.

This rifle has everything you could want, and then some. ESPECIALLY for 1400 bucks there is nothing better. The upper, bolt, bolt carrier, and safety are all properly Colt marked.

Nice Colt M5 Rifle
First Colt rifle I’ve ever own, have many others but not a Colt. Very happy with this rifle, looked it over throughly and has all the colt markings, even the etched “C” on the bcg. The ambidextrous bolt catch and mag release are a very nice addition, upper receiver flow together with the handguard beautifully and the Colt engraving on both side of the handguard sets it off. Over all a well made rifle, a bit pricey but it’s a Colt.
