This specially designed law enforcement weapon system features many of the combat proven advantages of the military Colt M4. With the 4-position buttstock fully retracted, the Colt Law Enforcement Carbine is less than 32in length and weighs only 6.9 lb - ideal for tactical deployment and traditional patrol. Colt's Law Enforcement Carbine is available with a step-cut barrel that allows it to accept a grenade launcher for non-lethal options. Furthermore, the handguard has dual aluminum shielding for more effective heat protection. 6920 comes equipped with a Magpul MBUS backup sight.

Gave it 4 stars because the letter "L" in colt is half missing on the lower. Agree with all the rest the above reviewer wrote.

Solid Purchase
My LE6920, in FDE, arrived within a week from ordering and all the contents were in good condition. I was very close to buying the all-black 6920, but the $700 FDE made my decision. This is a legitimate Colt, mil spec M4, carbine: the properly staked castle nut and gas key, chrome lined bore/gas key/carrier, M4 feed ramps, MP barrel and bolt, and the Colt cage codes match up. The safety selector was stubborn at first but is now loosening up with a little use. Last, the upper and lower receiver's fit is extremely tight and the take down pin is very snug--I'll see if this loosens up through break in as well. Inspected, cleaned, and function checked...range day tomorrow. Buy with confidence and thanks AU!
