Legit with CAGE code
The one I received has the Colt CAGE code on the right side short lever, just as it should be. All three pieces are exactly the same as the ambi that came on my Colt SOCOM, so I have no doubt that this is legit.

Colt ambidextrous safety
Not in a Colt package, it’s in a zip lock bag. Might be Colt , might not. No cage code on the two I bought. I would pass next time. I will probably return. Doesn’t look like The other cage code marked one that came with my new production A4.

Colt Ambidextrous w/ Cage code
Received the colt ambidextrous safety. It came in a plastic bag disassembled. The small selector has colts Cage Code etched on the bottom side. Appears to be a real colt. Not sure why another person claimed it is a Chinese knock off.

Has cage code and short lever
I was worried it wouldnt have Colts cage code or short lever after seeing these reviews. When I got it in it does have both! It however doesnt seem to be a Schmid because no S on opposite lever. Has detent spots on both sides so can be swapped from left to right. Exactly what I wanted to complete my M4!
