The Colt LE6920CK Upper Receiver Assembly feature's Colt's upper receiver. This upper receiver allows for a free-floated barrel and also features a gas-block mounted fixed front sight post with bayonet lug and a backup rear sight. The barrel is Colt's standard 16.1" chrome lined M4 barrel with an A2 flash hider up front.

Exactly as expected. No surprises. Colt quality with the cage code on upper receiver.. CMPI marked bolt. C marked carrier. Shoots to 1/2" high at 100yds using Matech rear sight with no optics. 3/4" group at 100yds with steel case Tula Ammo. Cleaned up easily, very crisp & shiny lands/grooves. Cycles perfectly, nice 4-5 o'clock case dump. I don't think this is a free floated barrel assembly. Appears to be completely mil-spec hand guards and front hand guard retainer.with hole for gas tube and standard mil-spec barrel nut and delta ring assembly. Quality as expected. Fast delivery as expected.

Not what I expected
First off, this is NOT an LE6920. this is the new production CR6920. It shipped quick, but when I got it, the box was cheap, with no protective packing. The box had slight damage, and the sling swivel was bent. It also was fired and not cleaned. There were no colt proof marks to show it is an LE6920. After some research, I found a YouTube video by small arms solutions, that showed the difference between the LE and the CR. I thought I was getting the LE

Colt 16 inch complete upper assembly
arrived on time and well packaged. The cage coded receiver had zero blemishes; it's t-marks and dry teflon interior coating was spot on. Same with the chrome lined carrier/key and the white dot marked bolt.... perfect! Colt cage code and twist rate data clearly stamped up top on barrel. Clearly, Colt quality is not a Lost Art.
