Carrier appears Excellent! However, be advised that it bears no definitive Colt markings. I expect that this is a policy change at Colt as I have seen mention of Unmarked carriers in various places. Trusting AU's stellar reputation that this part in true Colt.

this is not a negative review just some information on no c stamped or scribed c outside of carrier the one i received. staking ok. chrome finish inside good. outside phosphate finish good, mil spec appearance

I contacted Arms Unlimited about a bit of machining that I felt wasn't done right... The person returning the email, stated that I needed to "get with Colt, since they're the manufacturer" ... Yet, you are the Colt DEALER that passed it along... I don't think I'll buy anything from AU for a good long while.

I did not buy this bolt carrier for the Colt pedigree. I couldn’t care less about prestige and pedigree. I care about components that hold up to real world hard use. That said I haven’t used this carrier yet. I keep spare bolts because they are consumable items. Started a new build, only needed a carrier as I have bolts. Side by side comparison of this carrier with some of my others makes me think this is made by microbest for colt. NO tooling marks, the chrome lining is smooth as glass, they key is straight, correct fasteners and proper staking. I haven’t used it yet, but if you need a carrier and no bolt, for the price I’d buy this one every time regardless of branding or pedigree.
